Description of Workshop:

Floorwork, What is it?
Where do you get to do it?
How can one execute it?

Rayhana will answer these questions!!

Please join us and experience the joys of working
with the sensuous, feminine yet powerful aspect of the dance.
We will cover the different ways to *hit the floor*
so to speak and make it look beautiful.

After a long warm-up, we will cover stretches and
simple strength exercises for the thighs, abdominal muslces,
upper back, chest and then begin our decent as well as ascent from the floor.
The combinations that can be executed on the floor are endless.

Please bring your knee pads or leg warmers (2 pairs, if possible),
skirt or harem pants and a veil.
